This lady called claiming to be from a company, saying my details had been nicked. Her English wasn’t great though, so it was quite tricky to follow what she was actually saying.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Jeremy Cooper at the National Crime Agency, but he had a strange accent. Gave me a phone number that was legit for the NCA, but the caller ID on my phone showed something else. He kept going on about Microsoft, Windows, and some dodgy stuff happening on my computer. When I told him I don’t use Windows, he just ended the call. Later, I rang the actual NCA and they said it was a scam.
