I saved this number on my phone and then blocked it straight away. That did the trick for me.

Someone rang claiming to be from Trades Description. They kept asking for me specifically and refused to chat with my wife. After I told them they sounded like a scammer, they called twice more, but I ignored the second one.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a credit card company. Didn’t really buy it, so I just hung up. It was weird though, he actually said my name! How do they even get that info? So frustrating!

He keeps saying he’s from the Trades Description Act, and it’s getting so annoying - I get calls from him nearly every day! Honestly, do these people not realise that others have jobs too? By the way, the caller’s voice sounds foreign, maybe Asian.

I keep getting calls like every couple of days, and when I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end. I really hope this isn’t one of those scams where they start charging you just for answering. I’ve had enough now, gonna reach out to BT and get this number blocked. This has been happening for weeks nonstop.

They called me again even after I said no more calls, ended up ringing back just to hurl abuse at me. I've got TPS on my number, so I've made a complaint through the proper online channels.
