I've been getting calls from this number lately. The person on the other end says they're with some sort of Credit Investigations Department, supposedly a government programme aimed at folks with debts over £5000 who are unemployed or earning very little. I got two calls on the same day from 02045099632, about an hour apart. The first time, a man with an Indian accent rang and called me by my first name for both my first and last name. He said he was ringing from some credit investigation company. I told him straight up that I’d told them before to take me off their list and not call me again. He just hung up on me. Then, about 58 minutes later, a woman with a similar accent phoned. She used my full name correctly and mentioned the same company. I told her the same thing I told the man, plus that I’d already spoken to someone else from their team. She sounded quite flustered and sorry before ending the call.
