The pattern's always the same - the phone rings, you answer and there’s a pause before anyone talks. Most times the person sounds quite polite and well-spoken. They tend to call you by your full name or sometimes just your first name. When you ask who they are, they give a different company name every time. They usually claim to be Consultants. Then they try to get you chatting about time-shares, even though you never asked for the call. It’s always on the landline. If you ask them to send details in writing, the line goes dead or we just end the call before they can start their usual spiel.3 yearsDidn’t bother leaving any message, so seems pretty dodgy to me.3 yearsGot a call today from someone asking for Mr Richmond, which isn’t me. When I told them that and asked who they were and where they were calling from, they just ended the call right away.
