Got a call from someone claiming to be an energy advisor and saying he was local. Asked for my personal info straight away. Last time I checked, he wasn’t near Manchester. Totally dodgy, so I blocked the number and reported it. Definitely a scammer.

So annoying, kept getting calls from some energy company trying to scam me. I had to block the number, no way I’m falling for it.

Hey, this is Chris supposedly your local energy advisor. He says he's from Manchester but I'm actually in Leeds, so not really local at all. I ended up hanging up since I've gotten loads of these calls from a bunch of different numbers already. He rang me five times within just a couple of hours! I've blocked him now, but I bet he'll just switch to another number and start calling me nonstop again.
