I received a phone call from someone with quite a pronounced foreign accent, and let me tell you, the background noise was absolutely deafening. This chap claimed he could slash my energy expenses and save me roughly £200 each year. Just a word of caution, though - he wasn't affiliated with my actual energy provider. I had a call from them before, they claimed they could lower my electric bill, I told them yeah right, like that's gonna happen. The guy said he could do it, so I asked him if he was going to cover the cost for using electricity. He said no, so I told him I already got my electric meter tampered with and I don’t pay for electricity. He just hung up on me (which obviously isn’t true).

Got a call sayin it was an energy check and they claimed I’d save around £240 a year. I said it sounded good but wasn’t really interested, just wanted to end the call. Then they started sayin I’d already agreed to switch over 😡😡😡😡. I told them no way, it was supposed to be just a review, then they started moanin about wasting their time. Honestly, just block this number and avoid the hassle.

I got a call from a South African number, with someone saying they were ringing from energy helpline. Could be true, could be not. They told me cold calling doesn’t exist and suggested I don’t understand what it means. Well, actually I do, and since I never agreed to any calls from them, this is obviously cold calling. To be honest, anyone who’s switched energy lately will know it’s not a good time to change providers. Just block this number and share it around, maybe if enough people do that, they’ll stop these annoying cold calls and it’ll hit their income.
