I got a call from some debt management people asking if they could clear off some of my debt. Seemed like they wanted to discuss writing it off or something along those lines. Quite a surprise!

Got two calls from them. Ignored the first one, then when they called again I couldn't even pick up before it stopped ringing.

Got a call from some company asking if I owed any money. I told them I wasn’t in debt and then this guy Andrew said sorry, guessing it was some debt management firm ringing round, offering to slash 85% off people’s debts. Honestly, not shocked at all, seems like there’s no proper work for anyone these days. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

someone rang me claiming to be from some national help service or whatever, saying they could assist with bills that piled up during covid. i said i was fine and then he sounded shocked, asking if anyone else lived here coz apparently my number was flagged or something. the way he spoke wasn't very professional at all. i’ve no clue who they actually were, so i'd be super careful if you get a call like this.
