Seems like they ask stuff where you can only say yes or no. If they manage to find out your bank info or where you keep your money, they try messing with phone banking using voice ID. Bollywood and Indian railways probably hit their limits, so now it's these call centres doing the dodgy stuff. Bet some pushy folks who made their kids go there must be feeling proper rubbish now.

Whenever I see a number I don't know, I pick up, say nothing and just hang up right away then walk off. I can usually hear a quiet "hello" or "hello" as I move away. If its important, they’ll send a text anyway.

The number rang quite a few times before i picked up. The voice on the other end was hard to catch, said something like they were from a firm called Love My… something but i couldn’t make it out properly. After that, I blocked their calls and texts. What a pain in the neck!

Got a call from this number around 11:30am, and when I picked up, there was this lady speaking on a recorded message saying something about "ilove my office" or summat like that. Then it gave me three choices. I chose the second option to stop getting calls. After that, I was put through to a lady who talked in some Indian language, saying my number would be removed within 24 to 48 hours. I ended the call after that.
