I received a rather dodgy call today from someone trying to sell me life insurance. When I mentioned that I wasn't interested, the chap turned rather hostile and quite impolite, if I’m honest. Curiosity got the better of me, and after the call, I decided to look his number up. Turns out, he’s nothing more than a scam artist! Honestly, I wasn’t shocked in the slightest!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from ‘clear compare’ or something like that. He said he wanted to review my life insurance with Aviva. He confirmed my name and asked why I had life insurance in the first place, then said he might be able to lower my premium after the review. After that, he put me through to another bloke, sounded Scouse, who asked about how much I pay and the amount of cover I have. I told him I wasn't sure and didn’t have those details with me. Then they said they’d let me get on with my day. Seemed pretty sketchy to me.
