Got a call about some car finance claim thing, but I’ve never had any car finance at all. Told them straight to take my info off their system because of GDPR and that they should check where they’re getting my details from. They got really annoyed when I said no to giving out personal stuff. Definitely a dodgy call centre, don’t trust these lot at all. I’ve reported them to OFCOM just in case.

Got a call from 0161 8201893, some bloke claiming to be from HMRC in Manchester saying I might get a refund. Total scam, there’s no way they’d ring you up like that. I told them off and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, offering a tax refund. When I questioned him, he suddenly said he was from a company called HYS, claiming they help thousands get tax refunds. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he kept pushing for a few minutes, rattling off some script he was clearly told to say. It’s obviously a total scam. At the end, he insisted they owed me thousands of pounds even though they had zero info about me. I told him to keep it, and he hung up on me angrily.
