This morning, I had a rather concerning phone call. A chap claiming to be from BT informed me they had received several alerts regarding attempts to access my internet account. He introduced himself as David Fernandez, and when I probed further about his location, he provided the number I’m now posting about, along with an address at 101 Commercial Street, Manchester. To further bolster his authenticity, he quoted a lengthy string of digits, asserting it was my customer license security ID. I pressed him for more details to verify his identity, but when I hesitated to share any personal information, he abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me!
