What an absolute pain! This pesky caller has tried reaching me three times, all spaced out over three hours. On the final attempt, I picked up the phone only to be met with a dreadful connection. An Asian-accented chap claimed to be from BT, but when I pointed out the awful line quality, he promptly cut me off. Honestly, what a pointless endeavour for him! What’s the point of all this?

I keep receiving calls from this number and honestly, I can’t make heads or tails of what they're saying. It’s sheer gibberish! I’d recommend hanging up right away; it’s definitely a scam.

I'm experiencing the same predicament as others have reported. This number rang me thrice; I didn’t catch the first two calls (found out through 1471) but picked up on the third attempt, which came three hours after the previous one. The chap on the line claimed to be from BT, but I could tell straight away that was a load of rubbish! I mentioned the line was dreadfully poor, and before I knew it, he ended the call abruptly.

I received a call from that same number, and the bloke on the other end had a really strong Asian accent, making it quite tricky to grasp what he was saying. He claimed he was there to assist with my broadband or router issues, but I couldn't make sense of much of his ramblings. I asked him if he truly thought I was daft and promptly ended the conversation.

Received a call from this number around 11:25 am. An Asian chap claiming to be from BT, rattling on about issues with my router. He was rather confrontational! I ended the call rather swiftly. Fortunately, I stumbled across this unknowphone.com site earlier and decided to verify. Cheers for the assistance!

I've had the misfortune of getting three calls from this number, which was forwarded to my mobile - rather pricey, I must say. Each call was from someone with a Filipino accent who disconnected as soon as I mentioned that I didn’t possess a BT Home Hub router. It baffles me that this number is still operational; they ought to be shut down for good, considering they've been at this same scam for quite a while now. Cheers, DPM London

Purporting to be from BT Technical Support, this caller needs to be treated with extreme caution. It’s essential to remember that with BT, the protocol is to report faults yourself; they won’t reach out to you about them. This is likely a scam designed to trick you into downloading harmful software onto your computer. Be wary of any prompts to simultaneously hit the Windows key and R - that merely opens the run dialogue, where they might instruct you to input a link leading to malicious content. They might even try to convince you that they’ll dispatch an engineer with a new router first thing in the morning - a suggestion best taken with a pinch of salt, as BT would usually send you a router through the post for you to install yourself!

The phone rang unexpectedly, and at first, there was nothing but silence. After a brief pause, a click echoed, followed by a woman’s voice with an Asian accent inquiring about my day. I promptly informed her that I suspected this was a scam and requested to speak with her supervisor. Shortly after, a man chimed in, insisting he was from BT and alerted me to an issue with my router. He assured me that there would be no cost involved to resolve it. I was then switched back to the initial caller, but I replied that I would verify their claims by calling BT using a different line before hanging up.

I had a call from a number I recognised, so I decided to hang up. A short while later, I received another call from 001441618189581. This time, it was supposedly about an issue with my BT router, but I didn’t entertain that one either and simply disconnected.
