10 yearsSomeone called me claiming to be Alex Matthews from BT and Talk Talk, said he was from tech support. He told me my router was causing problems with my software and asked for all my computer details. Thing is, I don’t have a computer at all, so I questioned him and he just hung up. Later on, I found out these scammers get into your system, erase everything, then charge you to fix it. The way he answered was weird too, like he was chatting with a mate - no proper company introduction or anything. Definitely not how BT or Talk Talk would handle calls.
