This number keeps ringing me up pretending to be from HMRC, telling me I have to pick up and settle some tax today or they'll come after me with an arrest warrant. It's a load of rubbish because I don't even pay tax! What a joke.

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent saying his name was "Thomas Smith". He was going on about how our energy usage was through the roof and that the national grid had lodged a complaint. Wanted to speak to the manager straight away. When he asked who supplies our energy, I told him we've got solar panels, wind turbines, and a petrol generator - no need for the grid at all! Then he started shouting "LISTEN TO ME! I TELL YOU, BELIEVE ME!" I just told him to find a better job and hung up. Utter idiots!

Got a call at our company on a Saturday, and I’m pretty sure it was a total scam after seeing all these other comments. The woman called herself Joy Williams, sounded Indian. When I rang back after she left a message for our receptionist about some ‘complaint’, an Indian bloke answered. Sounds like a dodgy duo making bogus calls. Do NOT share your postcode or anything about your energy provider with them!

We got a call at our shop one Saturday from a woman who said her name was Joy Williams, sounded Indian. It all felt dodgy, especially after I phoned back since they’d left a message about some 'complaint' with our receptionist. An Indian bloke answered then, making the whole thing seem like a total con. From what I’ve gathered and reading others’ experiences, it’s just a scam. Don’t hand over your postcode or info about your electricity supplier to these people - they’re just messing about.

Got a call from some woman claiming to be from EDF, said she was from India or something. She was really nasty, kept swearing at me over and over. Then she actually called again just to keep insulting me. Honestly, so poor from EDF if she’s really working for them. Proper disgusting behaviour.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent asking for the owner of our business. I couldn’t quite catch what she was saying properly. She mentioned something about complaints from the National Grid about high electricity usage. I told her she was talking to me, but what she said next didn’t make much sense. Then a bloke came on and asked again for the owner. I said no one was around and asked what it was about. He kept saying he wanted the owner because our electricity use was too high. He just kept going on like that and then just hung up.

Been getting calls all morning from a woman with an Indian accent, and she speaks so quickly it's hard to catch what she's saying. Seems like she's after the business owner. Every time I tell her he isn’t around, she just ends the call. This is the third time today already.

On the 29th of November at 12:03, I got a call from a lady with an Indian accent wanting to speak to the person in charge of the business about a problem connected to my electricity. When I asked her for a complaint reference number so I could check with my energy provider myself, I kept quiet about who I was with. She said she couldn’t share that info. I told her I’d ring up my supplier straight away because that’s the proper way to handle it, then she started arguing with me. Ended the call there.

Got a call from these muppets earlier, told me they were from the complaints team at UK Energy Services - sounded like an Indian lady like others have mentioned. I kept telling her I don’t even know who they are and there’s no way anyone can have a complaint about me! She was stumped and then passed me onto a bloke with the same sort of accent. Had a bit of fun asking if he was ready with his script or needed a few minutes more. Guess what? He just ended the call haha 😂

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent, said they were with the "Complaints Department" and wanted to speak to the business owner. When I asked them which company they were representing, all they did was keep repeating "Complaints Department." Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

The phone rang incessantly, five times in the span of a single minute! Clearly, they snagged our number from some online source. They were quite adamant about lodging a complaint and/or conversing with the owner. The line was rather peculiar; there was this echo that made it sound like I was hearing my own voice back at me. Quite the bizarre experience, really!

Got calls almost every day from a woman with an Indian accent asking for the business owner about some electricity issue. When I asked for more details she kept quiet. Today I finally found out she was calling from a place called UK Energy Ltd. I looked them up on Companies House and saw the company had actually been dissolved back in September 2019. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call earlier from a woman with an Indian accent, sounded really polite at first. She said it was about a complaint from my energy company, but things got sketchy when I asked more questions. She got pretty annoyed when I wouldn’t tell her my name, and weirdly couldn’t say who my supplier actually was. Definitely felt like a scam to me. I’ve blocked the number now.

Seems like it's another call from some overseas call centre pretending to be with a UK energy firm, always asking for the head of the business, madam. When I pressed them on why they were ringing and wasting my time, they got all defensive and just kept telling me they were a proper company but never explained what the call was actually about. I cheekily asked the lady if she liked her job and then she just hung up. Probably another scam, huh?
