Some bloke from India rang me up calling himself Steve Jones, trying to get me to confirm if I wanted to renew a software licence. Problem is, I don't even have that software in the first place! Quite confusing, really.

Got a call from a number saying they were from ANYTECH saying they wanted to update my computer. Don’t trust them, it’s a total SCAM. Best to just ignore calls like that.

Got a call from a bloke who said his name was Steven Jones. He was telling me I needed to pay for some computer security service and then somehow used a remote access app to get into my computer. He pretended he was from my antivirus provider the whole time. The numbers he called from were 0161 818 8782 and also 0161 818 9411.

Got a call from some dodgy bloke trying to sneak into my computer, probably after my bank details too. Total scam.

got a call from a scammer saying the firm that sorts my computer out had closed down and they wanted to send me some money back. i knew that wasn't true since i spoke with them just the day before. told the caller it was a con and to stop bothering me. then i phoned my actual company to let them know about the scam.

I got a call from this number out of the blue. Didn’t think anything of it at first. But when I rang it back, it just said it couldn’t connect. Bit fishy, maybe a telemarketer or some kind of spam?

Got a call from a guy, sounded like he was from some tech support group. He said he was with my computer security team and wanted to update my system. He asked me to give him remote control, but I told him no coz he couldn’t verify the special access phrase I have. Didn’t feel dangerous but I reckon it was a scam trying to sneak into my PC.
