Got a recorded message from someone claiming to be Jennifer Brown, saying they’d take legal steps if I don’t ring back. Honestly, I reckon it’s a con, so i’m not bothered - let them try!

Got a recorded message at 2:13pm on 17 January, same as others, definitely feels like a scam to me. I've already reported it to HMRC just in case.

Got a voicemail from someone called Jennifer Brown at Inland Revenue, saying I or my solicitor should call back about some ‘urgent’ issue or else legal steps will be taken. Total scam, obviously. Not gonna bother replying to this rubbish message at all. Just spam, best to just ignore it completely.

Got a voicemail that seemed like it was pre-recorded from someone called Jennifer Brown claiming to be from the inland revenue. She said either me or my solicitor had to call back about an urgent issue, or we’d be in trouble legally. It didn’t feel like a personal call at all, more like a pushy spam message to me, definitely not legit HMRC stuff.
