For the past few days, this number keeps ringing me non stop. Normally I just leave it, but out of curiosity I called back today. A bloke with an Indian accent picked up but wouldn’t say who he was or why he was calling unless I gave my name first. No chance I was doing that! Plus, I could tell he was driving or something, noise in the background. Strangely, he claimed he wasn’t based in Manchester even though the number showing up is from there. Weird situation all round.

For several days now, this number has been bombarding my phone, and typically I’d just disregard it. However, today I decided to give it a ring back. An Indian chap picked up but was rather evasive, insisting I disclose my identity before he'd reveal his own or the reason for his call. Naturally, that was a complete non-starter for me! To make matters odder, it sounded like he was on the road when he answered. He went on to claim he wasn’t from Manchester, despite the fact that the caller ID displayed a Manchester number! Quite the peculiar situation, I must say!

Got a call from this number at just after one this afternoon. Didn’t recognise it, so I ignored it straight away. Decided to check them out here before blocking. These lot must be daft if they think people fall for this. I emailed one of those companies that supplies virtual numbers from Manchester to see if they had any info on this number or if it’s one they issued - no reply at all, which probably means they’re involved in the mess. I’m also going to drop a line to Ofcom soon to ask how they’re still operating.
