They rang me about six times, but I ignored them all. When I finally picked up, a woman said, "Hello ma’am, how are you?" I told her I’d already turned down six calls and asked them not to bother me again. Of course, they kept ringing, so I’ve had to block the number now. They’re really relentless!

There was some noise in the background, sounded like people chatting in a language I didn't recognise. I ended the call but kept getting calls again from various landline numbers. Really annoying!

I got a call from someone who didn’t say which company they were from at first, but when I asked, they mentioned Opus. They said they could help me cut my energy bills by at least 30%. The woman quickly handed me over to a ‘manager’ who then sent me price info via WhatsApp, which felt a bit odd since I expected an email. It’s crazy that these foreign fraudsters can come into the UK and carry out scams like this, often while I reckon they’re on benefits and living in social housing. Honestly, these scammers are worse than some groups who move about in nicked caravans pulled by stolen cars, using fake identities.

Had this indian woman call me, all rude and pushy trying some scam, so I just ended the call. Then she rang again, trying to scare me with jail talk. I just laughed it off, and she started yelling things like "Why you laughing? You'll regret it!" I disconnected right away. Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Phones4u, warning me my phone would be disconnected and destroyed unless I renewed my contract straight away. She was really aggressive and kept shouting, practically begging for my card info. I told her there’s no chance, but she rang me back three more times. Eventually, I blocked her number, but then she started calling from a different one, throwing racist insults at me. Turns out she’s a complete idiot, because a quick Google would’ve shown Phones4u shut down ages ago. Proper muppet.

I recently had the misfortune of encountering a rather dodgy phone scammer, supposedly claiming to represent Phones4u. This woman, with her over-the-top, brash manner, demanded that I renew my mobile contract immediately or face the dire consequences of having my phone switched off and supposedly destroyed. It was quite alarming, her voice practically screamed with desperation as she insisted on getting my bank details. Naturally, I firmly told her no. What followed was a relentless barrage of calls - three more in total! I managed to block her number, but she had the audacity to ring me from a different one, resorting to a string of crude insults. To be honest, it’s astonishing how inept she is; didn't she realise that Phones4u has been out of business for ages? What a silly person!

Seems like she’s one of those scammers who target old people and foreigners. I don’t usually bother with these sorts of calls, but this was just awful. Proper racist behaviour if you ask me.

Got a really bad call from a woman with a strong Pakistani accent, threatening to cut our electric if we didn’t switch to EDF right away. Told her it was rubbish and to stop calling. She rang back straight away and started shouting at us. I ended up hanging up, but she phoned once more, threatening to send the police because we weren’t following her demands. When I told him to take my number off his list since he didn’t have my permission to ring me (thanks to the new GDPR laws), and warned he’d get reported if he called again, he got really annoyed. Then he started moaning about my phone etiquette, which made me lose my cool. I ended the call, but he rang back three more times! So rude and totally unprofessional.
