They started getting really nasty when I refused to hand over the details they were after. Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, they warned they'd come round to my place to pick up cash or valuables if I didn’t agree to do the phone transfer. Proper scary behaviour.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from EGH Legal & Tax, something about working with a Brooke Stand or similar, helping with PPI tax refunds from HMRC. She said she wouldn’t need my bank info but wanted me to fill out some form or whatever. I just said I’d wait for HMRC to get in touch and ended up cutting the call because it was getting dull.
