Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from a management consultancy. I cut him off straight away, told him to stop wasting my time as I’m fed up with scam calls. My number’s on the TPS, so they shouldn’t have even been ringing me. Only picked up because it showed as a local Manchester number. Blocked the number now. It’s quite weird how they seem to get hold of mobile numbers that aren’t meant to be public!

Got a call from someone saying he was a doctor asking why I missed my appointment. I had no idea what he was on about, so I told him he’s got the wrong number. He said sorry and hung up.

I started asking about his business, and I mentioned I was struggling to catch his accent. He got really annoyed and annoyed when I kept my details to myself. Then he just hung up on me! I got a call from a man speaking with an Indian accent, asking about old car accidents I supposedly hadn’t claimed for. At the beginning, he said he was calling from Manchester, but later on mentioned South West London. When I pointed out Manchester isn’t part of South West London, he just said “alright” and carried on. It was obvious a scam - I could hear loads of other voices and background noise like a call centre far away, probably somewhere in India trying to scam personal info. I've blocked the number and reported it already.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent asking about some old car accidents that supposedly I hadn’t claimed on. At first, he said he was ringing from Manchester, but then later mentioned south-west London. When I pointed out that Manchester isn’t in south-west London, he just said “ok” and carried on. It was obvious a scam, and I could hear loads of other calls in the background, like some dodgy call centre in India trying to blag personal info. I’ve blocked the number and put in a report.
