Some bloke rang me saying it was about a government scheme to cover half my debts. He asked how much I owe and what my monthly payments are. Then he claimed all my debts would be cleared and I’d only need to pay £80 a month for 5 years. When he pressed for more info and details on my debts, I just ended the call.

Totally useless scammers! They called me claiming they've got details about me being in a car crash that wasn’t my fault and said I’m definitely entitled to a big payout. I asked when this supposed accident took place and they said last year. Since I haven’t had any accidents in the past 25 years, I told them if they’re gonna scam people over the phone, the least they could do is check their facts first. They ended the call super quick!

A rather rude young chap rang me up seeking details about an accident. When I declined his request, he rudely retorted with a "F*** off" before abruptly ending the call. This happened around 2pm on Tuesday, the 14th of July, 2020.

I told them I hadn’t been involved in any accident and mentioned my workplace, and as soon as I did, the caller just ended the call straight away.
