Someone rang up saying they were from an energy company and wanted to talk to 'the person responsible for our energy bills'. There was loads of background noise so I could barely make out what they were saying. After me having to say it twice, they told me the call was being recorded. I ended up having to repeat myself about 4 times cos of the noise, they couldn’t hear me properly either! Honestly, calls like this make me think kids should stay focused at school - can you imagine having to handle this kind of job for a living?
