Got a call from a bloke with a strange accent who couldn’t even say my name right. I told him he had the wrong number and just ended the call. Looked him up here afterwards and decided to block the number.

Answered the phone and found out the person was calling from South Africa, even though the Caller ID said Manchester. Pretty sure it’s one of those sneaky PPI scams. She got quiet real quick when I started talking to her in Zulu!!!

I don’t even live near there, and a good 70% of those dodgy PPI calls I've had come from that code. That place is flooded with them! No offence to anyone from 0161 or anywhere else, but you know that usual opener, "Is that Mrs. ______? How are you today?" Yeah, right, as if! Give me a break, total joke.
