Got a call from 1618149775, said hello and the person just hung up straight away. When I called back all I got was music playing. Looks like a scam to me. Tried blocking it on my Nokia but the instructions I found online don’t really explain how to block a specific number. Anyone got tips?

I got a ring from this number. When I picked up, I was greeted with some tunes, so I decided to hang up.

Absolute scam! They rang me on 07/05/2019 around 11 in the morning. I picked up and a woman started saying something about a loan application I supposedly made. She told me it had been approved and all she needed was my bank details to send the money that same day. I was like “what loan?” Then I told her to jog on, scammers! She just hung up after that. I blocked the number right away. Seriously, they’re still trying the same old tricks, total rubbish. Just tell these muppets to do one!

red star ppi have been bothering me for nearly two years now. no matter how often i say i’m not interested or block their calls, they just keep on ringing. it’s getting really annoying.

they actually knew my name and claimed it was about ppi. i always thought those calls were banned nowadays?

They called me up using my name and claiming it was about PPI. I thought stuff like that wasn’t allowed anymore? Seems dodgy to me.

A woman from some credit firm kept ringing me, telling me I’d supposedly put in an application for credit with them. She was pretty pushy, kept saying I definitely applied. Turns out they’d phoned me using another number before. This was the fourth time they called me since 14th Feb 2019. Before that, I’d had about 7 calls from them between September 5th and 12th 2018.

Yet another dodgy call! Received loads from numbers that are nearly the same, just with a digit or two swapped. I've blocked all of ’em, but they still persist. You’d think they’d have taken the hint by now.
