this number's rung me up three times over the past couple of days, but they never bother leaving a message - can't be anything urgent then.

Someone pretending to be a scammer called asking for a person who apparently owned this number previously and then switched it. BT gave me this number, so it’s not their fault. I just ended the call and blocked it. It’s that same Scottish Power scam that kept calling me every day about a year ago on my phone. Don’t pick up or ring back this number, they’re definitely out to take your cash.

Got a call on my work mobile from these people. The number’s meant to be private. They said something about gas energy. When I asked how they even got my number, all they could say was “I understand” like they were being all smug. I then asked why they were calling in the first place and repeated the question, but never got a proper reply. Definitely feels like a scam.

I reckon this is a scam linked to one of those online surveys claiming you could win a Tesco/Asda/Sainsbury’s voucher. The Toleadoo link just directs you to some dodgy external site that asks for your personal info, but it's got no connection with any of those supermarkets. They need reporting because they keep calling, and once you block one number, they just tweak it a bit and start ringing again.
