Quite a harsh lady on the phone, kept telling me to find a quiet spot for the call even after I said I couldn’t chat during work hours. She kept pushing for a conversation and when I said it wasn’t possible, she actually ended the call on me!!! Basically, just hope you avoid these PPI scammers ringing out of the blue and getting annoyed when you can’t chat.

About an hour after I blocked the number 0165776752 because it was just a recorded message, I got a call from a different number. I answered it without saying a word, and then the line just switched to a busy tone. Pretty weird!

This bloke kept saying I was due money for PPI, even though I’ve already paid it! When I asked where he got his info from, he just clammed up. I told him I’ve never paid PPI at all, and he just goes "how do you know that then?" Eventually, he said he could send me a form to fill in to claim, so I told him fine, send the form and then I hung up. What a complete waste of time and proper annoying.

Got a call from this number about a supposed PPI claim I was eligible for. When I said I doubted it, the caller got quite aggressive and insisted I must have one. She started rattling off different banks, trying to get me to say which one I used. When I told her I wasn’t comfortable sharing that, she got rude and said she wasn’t asking for my actual account number. Then she kept going on about it not being a good time (I was at work) and ended with a shouted 'right, fine, bye' before hanging up. Absolutely charming!!!

I blocked this same number on my landline ages ago, but now they keep ringing my mobile non-stop. They never pick up when I try calling back, so I'm guessing it's some dodgy PPI or something useless like that. It's so frustrating. I've started ignoring most calls just to avoid getting caught up in their nonsense. Both my landline and mobile go straight to voicemail and answerphone, yet they don’t seem to get the hint. Honestly, it's driving me mad. If we needed to get in touch, we'd call them, not the other way round! So annoying!

they rang me up saying i was owed a ppi refund. i said i wasnt interested as ive never had ppi on anything, my wife works in finance and knows all about it. the person on the phone got rude and started pushing me to stay on the call when i asked them to take my number off their list. i told her id report the firm to ofcom and gave back their number, she just said she didnt care and id be getting more calls from them still.
