They rang me twice, asked if I owned a house, and I didn’t say yes. Then they launch into “Well, we’re happy to have reached the right person, we’re giving free loft insulation checks” and went on about how “I’m sure I’m one of the many sensible homeowners taking up government schemes to help with the energy crunch.” I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. About half an hour later, they called again with a recorded message asking me to call back. They’re pretty pushy and jump to conclusions just to get you to agree to things. Watch out for these calls!
