I've been getting calls from this number a couple of times every day, and whenever I pick up, there's just silence on the other end.

I've been getting these annoying calls from this number repeatedly, like clockwork. It's almost a daily occurrence, sometimes even more than once in a day! I've been getting 2 to 3 calls daily from this number. Every time they ring, it disconnects after a couple of minutes, and when I do answer, there's just silence on the other end. Quite baffling, really!

Just got one of those annoying calls again, so straight onto my block list it went! These scam calls keep coming but with my nuisance call blocker, they don't bother me anymore. Seriously, if you’re fed up with them, get one of these blockers - it's really worth it. Tell your mates too, the block feature is a lifesaver!

Got calls from this Direct Airport Parking Investment place a couple of times, but no one spoke and then just ended the call. I phoned them back, went through the compliance menu, and told them to stop calling me unless they want me reporting them to Ofcom for those silent rings. They said they wouldn't ring again, so I'll keep an eye out and see if they stick to that.

this number rang me earlier today, saw a few others say it’s some kind of ppi scam. i just ignored it, not biting. reckon I’m one of those few people who’s never even had a loan, always careful with money.

I've been getting nonstop calls from these people and have no idea how they got my phone number. I'm on the TPS list, so what they're doing is definitely against the rules. I'm planning to reach out to TPS and the police to file a harassment complaint. I'd recommend everyone else do this too.

So far this month, I've gotten a total of 7 calls from ‘private numbers’, all around 9.30 in the morning. Every time I picked up, it was about PPI - same recorded message, spoken by a woman. Sick of being bothered, I decided to press 5 just to see what happens. Sure enough, the very next day, Hall & Hanley called me. Feels like someone from the inside tipped them off. What they don’t say is the massive cut these scammers take for a pretty straightforward job that most folks could easily sort on their own. Proper cheeky, if you ask me.

Honestly, it feels like you lot are just on a witch hunt here! I managed to get over £5000 back thanks to Hall and Hanley. They were clear about their charges from the start and really worked hard to get my cash back. It wasn’t some random cold call like some are saying - I actually replied to a text about claiming PPI, which wasn’t from Hall and Hanley but a separate marketing firm. And let me tell you, I’m well chuffed with that £5000!

was on the phone to british gas using my landline when this number popped up on my mobile. didn’t answer since i didn’t know it. smells like one of those ppi scam calls to me. cheers for the heads up. blocked the number straight away.

Just got a ring from a 0161 number and as soon as I picked up, they ended the call. From what I've seen, loads of these advertising scams seem to be run out of Manchester. So, if you don't know anyone up that way, you'd best be wary of calls coming from those 0161 codes.

I got a call from a firm called Hall and Hanley, said they handle PPI claims. Was a bit suspicious at first, but the person on the phone was pretty friendly. Just be careful tho, seemed like they might try to push you into signing up quickly. Not sure if I’ll go through with it yet.
