Some bloke called Jason rang up saying he was from the pensions office, wanted to chat about new laws. How do these lot even find our numbers and names?! It's well dodgy.

Got a call from someone acting like they were from the government pension department, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. They were asking loads of personal stuff and sounded suspicious. Definitely wouldn’t trust that kind of call without double checking properly first.

I just picked up and then ended the call straight away.

Got a call like 5 minutes back claiming to be from the pensions office. Told them I don't even have a pension and they just hung up.

I get calls from this number quite a lot in the evenings but they never say anything or leave a voicemail. I'm registered with the TPS, so I don't understand why they're still calling me.

I've been getting calls from this number every night recently.

Almost every day my phone rings, and when I pick up, there's just silence. I reckon they're hoping a woman who sounds vulnerable will answer. Seriously, why isn’t anyone putting a stop to this weirdo?

Got some creepy calls where the person was just breathing really heavily down the phone, felt pretty disturbing and abusive.

Keeps ringing me up claiming to be "Malcolm at the Pensions Office," pretending to be from the Government Pensions Service. I've told "Malcolm" off in no uncertain terms to leave me alone, but they just won't stop. I've reported them to the TPS a few times now, but they keep saying there's nothing they can do about it. Proper annoying!

They've been ringing me up pretty much nonstop these past couple of weeks. It's been especially annoying when they call late at night just as I'm trying to get the kids settled down.

Got a call from Jason at about half past eight on a Monday evening. When I asked why he was ringing so late, he just hung up. Classic Jason!

Got a call from a cold caller the other day, but as soon as I picked up they just dropped the line. I thought we were on the TPS list? Strange!

Got a call on a Thursday afternoon from someone claiming to be Jason at the pensions office. He said he was ringing about a family member who doesn’t live here anymore. This was the first and only time I’ve had a call like this.

This number has been ringing me for ages now, sometimes even on a Saturday! I contacted BT to try and block it, and they promised to sort it, but the calls just keep coming through!

Got a ring about 8.30pm on a Friday, someone said they were from the Pensions Office. Told them I never paid into any pension scheme and they just hung up. If you’re unsure, best check the DWP or FSA websites for legit info - genuine government folks wouldn’t be calling you out of the blue like that.

Got a call from this number around 8.30pm on a Wednesday night. The bloke on the line, sounded like he was from East London or Essex, was asking for an elderly lady who apparently lived here once, but this place is up in Yorkshire. I told him she's not here anymore. He just mumbled a bit before hanging up. Looked the number up later and found this site.

I got a call on the 15th of September from someone who was all over the place with their spiel about new pension rules. They said they had a free report to check if my current pension was still up to scratch compared to some sort of pension index. They tried pushing me to set up a meeting with an advisor at my house, which felt quite pushy. The person didn’t sound very professional either, and there was loads of noise in the background.

Got a call earlier from this number, some woman saying she was with the DWP. I told her I doubted the civil service would be doing work at 8.15 in the evening on a Friday. She then said she'd call Mr back the next day.

I just got a call from this number and when I picked up, no one said anything for about half a minute while I kept saying “hello?” Then suddenly, there was some weird noise and the call just ended out of nowhere.

I got a call from this number about a guy they reckon lives at my place, asking something about his pension. I told them he’s not here anymore and asked if they could tell me his name and number so I can get him to ring back. But then, out of nowhere, the person just ended the call. Really odd.

For the past couple of weeks, my elderly mate has been getting nonstop calls, like Thursday, Friday, then again Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Most of the time, they don’t even say their name, but yesterday the bloke said he was Tom before just hanging up. It’s really getting out of hand now. These pesky calls have to be dealt with somehow.

Got a call around 6.35pm on the 26th of August. When I asked who was speaking, a young lady answered saying she was Amelia from pension services, then immediately just cut the call. Definitely feels like a scam, these calls are so frustrating!

I just got a call, but the second I answered, the line dropped. Looks like some kind of auto dialer with no one actually on the other end.

On the 13th of July, 2015, around 5:47pm, I got a phone call from a bloke who was rambling about how new laws were supposedly going to mess with my pension. He said his name was John Hammond and that he was ringing from The Pensions Office in Southampton. When I asked him to give me their address, he just ended the call. There's actually no such place in Southampton, and the number showed up as coming from Manchester. I'm pretty sure this was a dodgy scam attempt.
