The bloke called me and asked if he was talking to Mrs (my old married name). I told him no, that hasn’t been my name for about eight years now. As I was trying to explain, he cut me off shouting, “Why you lying? You’re a bloody liar!” I tried to respond but then he just hung up. If that’s how they train people for customer service or sales, whoever’s in charge needs to fire him straight away!

Looks like a scam to me - they claimed I deserved over £2,000 compensation for a delayed flight, even though I told them I didn’t pay for the ticket (it was covered by my insurance). I’d be glad to be mistaken, but you know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Luckily, the call got disconnected before I had to share any more personal info.
