I have a feeling it was one of those fake calls, which seem to happen pretty often round here. They never bother to drop a voicemail either. I usually just let it ring off. I check this site pretty often to try and figure out who’s calling... It’s annoying but not much you can do really.

I keep getting calls for some “Linda man” and no matter how many times I block the number, it’s always a new one ringing! Proper annoying.

Got a call from some Asian-sounding folks trying to blag my bank info. Don’t trust a word those dodgy scoundrels say, there’s no legit company behind it. They use fake names and numbers, most likely from some automated system. Best thing is to just hang up and pretend you didn’t get the call - less chance they can nick your cash. Also, make sure you report the number to action fraud and text them on 7726. Stay safe out there!

I got a call today, 5th May 2026, just before 3pm. The lady on the line sounded Asian and asked straight for me by name. I was pretty sure it was one of those scammy calls from some Indian telemarketer, so I just said, "No thanks" and hung up. Honestly, these kinds of calls come at me at least three times a day during the week now. It's seriously getting out of hand. I wouldn’t trust this number for a second, I reckon it’s best avoided.

Got a call from an unfamiliar number, turned out to be one of those annoying cold calls. Just went ahead and blocked it straight away.
