Insurance Advice Group has been exceedingly impolite! They acted as though I’d had a recent accident, when in fact, that’s utterly untrue. How on earth did they acquire such incorrect details? It’s quite unsettling, I must say!

0161 814 9858 rang me, said they were from Insurance Advisory Group. Total scam! Told us some third party reopened a case from a minor accident my wife had ages back. Complete nonsense. They kick off by saying they'll help stop the endless calls we've been getting. That’s just their way to reel you in, then the rest is all rubbish. Avoid!

Got a call about a car accident, trying to talk to a family member. Turns out this lot got my info from the other driver’s insurer. They wouldn’t delete my details until they had a chat with my relative. After I complained to the info commissioner, they agreed to wipe my data. Not sure if they actually will, only time will show.

Properly fed up with these lot. They keep calling claiming they’ll stop all unwanted calls but honestly - THEY’RE THE MOST DISHONEST SCAMMERS I’VE MET. Any good reviews are probably made up by their staff. Watch out - they just want you to fake injury claims, pretending you’ve been off work for a month after an accident. Father of J H.

At first they said I could get more cash for the hassle after my crash. But then they were pushing me to claim for injuries that never happened. Total scam. Got 6 missed calls from them just today!

Calling a phone number that's on the TPS list without permission is actually breaking the law. If anyone from this business rings a TPS number, no matter if they seem legit or not, they’re doing something illegal and you should definitely inform the Information Commissioner’s Office and Action Fraud about it. You could also take them to the small claims court and get compensation under the Data Protection Act and GDPR, it can be quite a bit. Can anyone share their address?

They rang me and kept telling me to say I was in pain from my accident to make a claim, even though I’d already said I wasn’t feeling any discomfort or needing to claim. They said if I claimed pain, I could get as much as £1800. To me, that sounds like fraud and just pushes insurance costs even higher. Sure, I might have got some cash, but I decided to stay honest. Plus, I got loads of calls all within a day sometimes, like 3 or 4 times. The number they used was 01565 341984.

This number is linked to an insurance advice company, and I'm grateful they called me last month since I was getting bombarded with calls about my accident. After chatting with them, it turned out I wasn’t eligible to make a claim, but they assured me they'd take my details off their list to prevent more calls. For the past three weeks, I haven't had any calls at all. My own insurance provider couldn’t assist me, so big thanks to this company and the friendly lady I spoke with.

Just got a call from these guys, and the woman on the line was really helpful. She explained why my info showed up on the national accident register and what I could do about it. Ended up making a claim and they just told me I’m getting £2400! Dead chuffed. No win no fee, no stress, proper good service all round.

Absolute scammers. So rude and really nasty on the phone. They just keep ringing me non-stop even after I’ve told them loads of times to quit calling. Every time I say I’m not interested in discussing the crash, they just laugh like it’s a joke. My accident happened ages ago, but they still call me about 7 or 8 times daily. They’re just desperate for cash no matter who they hassle. Honestly, stay well clear of these bullies.

I got a ring from these people and was a bit sceptical at first, as they said they were looking to close my case, but I was glad to see they actually went through with it. I never asked for anything about my accident and they didnt push me into claiming either.

Got a cold call from IAG but this time from 0203 6349437. They said even if I wasn’t hurt, I could still get up to £1500 for "inconvenience". I said I’d check my documents and they’d get back to me. After 40 years working in insurance, I immediately felt it was dodgy. I told them I’d already sorted my damages and didn’t want to make another claim that’d just push insurance prices higher.

Got a call from 01204311991 or something like it, bloke talking quick claiming to be from IAG after I mentioned an accident. He was saying he could stop the annoying calls if I gave info. I told him I'd rather look up IAG online than share anything. He soon said he’d shut the file and then just cut off. Can't say I’m sorry to see him go.

Absolute nuisance, just looking to squeeze money from you. Really pushy and keep calling over and over. They’re really rude and unpleasant. Say they’ll remove you from their list but never follow through. Refuse to share who they actually are. All in all, proper dodgy lot.

I’ve seen some bad reviews calling it a scam, but they never asked for any personal details from us, so I don’t really get where that’s coming from. I’d happily suggest them to my mates or family.

Insurance Advice Group kept ringing me from 0118 435 2834. Absolute con artists. Like others have said, why haven’t the FCA or the police done anything to freeze the directors' assets? They seem to get accident info from public records, probably when there’s some argument between drivers. Complete rip off and total scam.

Got a call from Insurance Advice Group calling from 01386 314844 claiming they wanted to help stop all the annoying calls about my car accident from last year. I was quite cautious with my answers but it turned out to be the same kind of scam mentioned here. She seemed well informed about the accident, so I guess they somehow got hold of info from accident records. My insurance provider is worried too, as those details shouldn’t be accessible except to insurance firms. The TPS register doesn’t seem to be working well for this kind of thing. Honestly, this is really getting out of control!

Got loads of missed calls from some Insurance Advice Group. Didn’t leave any voicemail. When I called back, they put me on hold for ages but never said anything about who they really are. They said it was about checking how happy people were with insurance claims, but then started asking about injuries and other people who were in an accident. Feels like they’re just trying to share my info with other telemarketers. I’m gonna let my insurance company know about this.
