Had a call from a "Paragon" number in Manchester. I told them I wasn’t interested and just ended the call. Been getting loads of calls from Manchester numbers like that lately and it’s really starting to wind me up. I’m not having any money problems, I always pay my bills, so I just block them straight away.

I’m seriously sick of these random calls coming through. I’m already dealing with anxiety, BPD and depression, and these nonstop ring ups are really pushing me over the edge. I reckon these callers have no idea how much it messes with people’s heads. Come on, if someone’s not picking up, it’s pretty clear they’re not interested in chatting. Just get the message, please.

Got a call about PPI, guy kept saying he was from the Bank of England and said my old claim was reopened. Such a pointless call, just ignore it and block the number if you get calls from them, they’re pestering me like 3 or 4 times a week now.

They’ve called me about 5 times this week, always hanging up right before I could pick up, but finally got through today. It was some PPI claim company called Paragon, saying I can claim PPI even though I told them I never took out anything with PPI. They wouldn’t listen and kept talking over me until I just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

01618148027 keeps ringing me about PPI. Ive said loads of times i’ve never had any credit cards but they just say they’ll remove me from their list then ring my work number next. Why doesn’t the government just ban this kind of harassment, its so annoying having them call constantly!

they keep calling me like 3 or 4 times a week for the past 2 bloody years. Said their name was Harrington Advisory and they were after PPI claims or something. I told them straight up I never had any, no package accounts or anything like that. even told them I’m better off without their crap and don’t care, but they keep ringing. I tried blocking the number, but they always call from a slightly different one. I just stop picking up now and haven’t for like 18 months, but they still bother me. to be honest, I’ve told them to piss off several times already.

They're claiming to be from Paragon Bank about PPI claims. Then they move on to mention Lloyds, Barclays, and Halifax. They say they'll send out a pack to help you claim money back. But the minute you don't share your personal info, they just hang up.

some woman with a chinese accent called me asking if I'd be up for oral sex and if I could sort payment by direct debit over 25 years. i told her i was already 77, so I'd be 102 by the time i’d finished paying for it.

didn't bother picking up, as you can tell straight away by the numbers that it's just a scam. i usually google them later, but happy someone's answering to prove these annoying calls everyone’s fed up with are just rubbish.

they begin by claiming you’re due money from something like ppi, then they start grilling you about your financial history. at first, they said i banked with lloyds, then switched to barclays, which isn’t true at all. they also wanted my old addresses. when i asked, ‘if there’s money to be paid why do you need all this info?’ they said i wasn’t being helpful enough. the woman was quite rude, so don’t bother with them.

I received a rather unexpected call today from someone claiming to discuss a loan that I never actually applied for. The person on the other end was exceedingly impolite and even resorted to swearing when I requested that they delete my contact information from their records. Quite the nerve, really!
