Lately, a whole range of numbers that differ only by the last few digits seems to have been hijacked by scammers. These numbers have probably been around for some time, but it looks like they’ve only recently been switched on again just to pull these tricks. There’s been a flood of reports about these calls in the last 24 hours alone. They claim to be from Manchester, but since they’re using VOIP, they could be calling from absolutely anywhere. Best thing is to just ignore, report them, and block the numbers.
