After ignoring the calls for days with no voicemail left, I finally picked up and the noise on the other end was mental. The bloke said he wanted to send me a letter to confirm my address about some bank account thing, probably PPI or something. He kept pushing even though I kept saying I wasn’t interested. I asked him a few times what it was about but he spoke so fast I couldn’t catch anything. With all the racket in the background, I just didn’t trust it one bit. If this number rings you, answer then hang up quick - they just keep pestering. I got about 20 calls from them in a week!

I'd avoid picking up or ringing them back, seems like a scam to me. After I got a call from a similar number, my phone bill went up a bit. Watch out, there are loads of slightly different versions of this number going about. Best to just block every one of them.

Theyve been ringin me for a few days now, so I finally picked up today. Cant quite recall what he was babbling about (pretty sure it was all rubbish). I just told him I knew it was a scam and asked him nicely to stop calling. He sounded a bit let down that I wasnt interested in his 'totally legit' deal, oh well. Fingers crossed they leave me alone now. Kinda wish I had come up with a clever comeback tho!

Got a call from Reliance Advisory. I told them I’d run them through my own security check first if they wanted to keep chatting - basically they’d have to give me their full name, date of birth and debit card info so I can do a little payment to verify it. Weirdly, no one’s agreed to it yet and I’m properly baffled why that is :-)

I got a call from this Reliance Advisory lot, saying the bank had set aside £2 billion for people to claim back - they said it’s all been on the news. They claimed it was about me being overcharged on my bank card or something. As soon as I started asking a load of questions, the guy got really shaky and lost his cool. I told him I'd check it out on my own, and he didn’t seem too happy about that, then said I'd get some info through the post. Bit fishy if you ask me.

My brother got a message on his phone telling me to ring this number about a 'ppi refund' I was meant to get. When I called, the line just went dead, like I was on hold or something. It felt dodgy from the start and now I’m worried they might’ve charged me loads for that call!

Honestly, I just wish these people would find real work instead of bothering folks nonstop. If I want anything, I’ll ask for it - I’m not falling for these calls. At the end of the day, they’re actually breaking the rules. Once, I had loads of free time and kept ringing them back, just saying stuff like “Yeah, it’s that annoying person again, why don’t you lads give it a rest?” I reckon I called them about 20 or so times in one hour!

I missed two calls from this number today because I was out and couldn’t answer. These calls really get on my nerves! If I had picked up, I would've told them that I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Most of the time, they cut the call off before I’ve even finished speaking, though occasionally one will apologise.
I'd definitely say sign up for it. It used to only cover landlines, but now mobiles are included too, which makes it against the law for companies like these to bother you. It doesn’t stop every single call, but since I registered, the number of calls I get has dropped loads. If you let the callers know you're on the list, they normally take you off their calling roster. Hope this is useful!
