Got a call from someone claiming to be BT tech support, telling me there were issues with my downloads. They asked what gadgets I had, like laptops and iPads. When I asked where they were located, the call just got cut off.

‭0161 012 4989‬ rang claiming to be from HMRC, told me to press 1. The bloke on the line wouldn’t say who he was or the name linked to my number. Ended up with him threatening to send the police over, even had all my details like name and address. Felt proper dodgy.

Got a call from this number today, they asked for me by my first name. The lady claimed to be from Barclays financial services and started talking about P.P.I. When I double-checked if I heard right, she just hung up on me. Looking back at my call history, this number and some others that look pretty much the same have been trying to ring me loads over the past few weeks. Like my husband says, why not find a real job instead of pestering people for cash? Smh.

Got a call from a firm named 'the high street group' about some PPI info. The number showed Manchester, but the lady said she was ringing from Newcastle. I live just 20 mins from Newcastle, so I cheekily asked her what she could see out of the window ?????? She dodged the question and said a manager would call me next week. I told her to go ahead and fill her boots ???? Totally enjoy getting calls like this and keeping them on the phone as long as possible to hopefully stop them bothering other people.

This number has been ringing my landline up to four times a day, and I've explicitly asked them to cease their calls. In a bid to tackle the annoyance, I went out and bought a cordless phone, but when I answer it, there's always silence on the other end, even after I've greeted them several times.
