I received a call from a bloke claiming to be with some sort of investigative agency. It was clearly a dodgy scam, so I gave him a piece of my mind and promptly hung up. Haven’t had a peep from them since, so perhaps a bit of sass does the trick with these types!

got a call from some dodgy outfit pretending to be from the motor bureau. they sent me a website link with the correct initials, but it wasn’t their actual site - in fact, the site had warnings about these scammers. definitely don’t share any personal info with them because they’re totally fake. their spiel was full of legal-sounding nonsense and sounded quite believable at first, but just like every other scam, they couldn’t name the exact accident they claimed i was involved in.
