I picked up the phone and they immediately started asking if I'd been on an all-inclusive holiday anytime in the past couple years. When I asked what it was about, they claimed I could be owed £12,000. I pressed for more details, and then they said they’d transfer me to a manager. The “manager” repeated the holiday question, and when I said no, they asked if the first caller had already asked me the same thing. After I confirmed she had, the manager said something like, “I’m going to have to fire her for not doing her job right.” That’s when I just hung up.
