They claimed their call centre is located in Africa. When I inquired about an accident they mentioned, I was baffled, as I couldn’t recall any such incident. I even asked if their claims might stem from that mysterious accident 😉 - they had no idea! When I probed further, asking if they were being dishonest, they were completely stumped. I informed them that I had recorded our conversation and I would be escalating the matter. Since then, I've been bombarded with six additional phone calls!ManchesterAfrica9 yearsI keep getting bombarded with calls from these people, despite me repeatedly explaining-six times, to be precise-that I've not been involved in any accident. Each time they ring, they insist that's the reason for their call. I've firmly asked them to take my number off their list half a dozen times, yet it falls on deaf ears. To add to the annoyance, they claimed they weren't even calling from Manchester, where my number is registered, but from somewhere in Africa! Whenever I do answer, there’s never a soul on the line. If I were to pester someone like this, I'd likely find myself in a bit of trouble.
