PPI Fraudsters I’ve just had the misfortune of receiving a call from these clowns. Honestly, I’ve never once had PPI, yet this woman insists she’ll be dispatching a letter in the coming days to inform me that I’m entitled to a £2,500 refund in PPI. Curious, I inquired whether the letter would display their address so I could return it sans stamp and really get under their skin. She mentioned that it would come with a freepost return envelope. I chuckled and replied, “Brilliant! I shall stuff it with something hefty and fire it back your way.” Her response? Just a nonchalant “Alright. Bye then.” Does that imply I won’t be receiving anything at all?

Just received a rather daft call from these buffoons. I've never dealt with PPI in my life, yet the caller insisted on informing me that a letter was on its way, detailing a whopping £2,500 I'm supposedly owed in PPI refunds. Curious, I asked if the letter would carry their address so I could send it back without having to fork out for postage. To my surprise, she mentioned there’d be a prepaid return envelope enclosed. I quipped, “Brilliant! I’ll just stuff it with some hefty rubbish and send it back to you.” She simply replied, “Alright, bye then.”

So, does that mean I won't actually receive this letter after all?

I received a call from this number but couldn't take it, so I called back only to find it was a recorded message. It said, "You have been contacted by First Call Group. If you wish to stop receiving calls, kindly send us your name and number at [email protected]." Clearly, this is a nuisance call. I’ve made the decision to block this number immediately and won't be divulging any personal information through email!

I received a call from a woman claiming she was going to mail me details regarding a supposed £2,000 refund. She recited my address and requested I verify it. Then, she probed whether the number she dialled was the most suitable for contacting me or if I had an alternative one. To wrap things up, she asked for my date of birth to grant her the go-ahead to dispatch the letter - I must admit, I politely declined to provide that information.
