They've been ringing me once or twice daily for nearly a week now. An automated voice says they’re from First Group and apparently tried to get through but all their lines were busy, so I should call back later. Seriously! Today they said if I don’t want any more calls, I need to email them my number. No chance I’m doing that - then they’d have my email too. How on earth is it allowed for them to bother folks this much?

I keep getting loads of calls every day from these muppets. Just had one guy asking for some bloke’s name who’s clearly handed out my number, cos I’m always getting calls and texts meant for him. When I told the bloke it wasn’t his phone (I’m a woman, so you’d think he’d get that), he got really narked, saying I was accusing him of lying and that he couldn’t delete my number. Then he started demanding to know my name. He wouldn’t stop asking for the guy, so I just hung up and blocked the number.

got a call from someone called nikki claiming to be from payment protection insurance. she had my right phone number and address but asked loads of questions about loans and credit cards i’d supposedly taken out. clearly she had no clue about me or my credit history. when i told her i’d never had any, she just hung up. just another annoying spam call.
