I called back the number and it turned out to be some kind of compensation telesales.

Had a call on my phone from someone who said they were from AMS Nationwide, speaking in a really slow drawl about ‘the accident you were involved in last year’. Told them straight away I hadn’t had any accident. Looked them up online afterwards. They’d called from a landline, so I phoned back on this number 01513759357. After a bit of hassle - can’t go into too much detail as this form won’t let me type it all out - a ‘manager’ eventually took me off their call list.

Got a call from this number but no one spoke when I answered, even after I said "Hello" pretty loudly. Then the call just ended. I called back from my landline and was told it was AMS Nationwide, but they said that number wasn't for calls. Sounds like just another annoying telemarketer to me!

Got a call from this number claiming I’d been in a car crash in the last three years, when it was actually about four years ago. I started off nicely, saying I’d already had about ten or fifteen calls like this. Then the bloke, who sounded like he was from Liverpool with that strong Scouse accent, just cut me off rudely.

I really don’t understand why the phone companies just let this go on.

On Wednesday evening, around 7 pm, I got a call from this number. The lady on the line had a Chinese accent and oddly, she already knew the account holder’s name. She rushed through her words, saying she was from Nationwide and asking if I’d been part of a recent accident. When I asked her to clarify where exactly she was calling from, she just cut off the call.
