Had a call on my phone from someone who said they were from AMS Nationwide, speaking in a really slow drawl about ‘the accident you were involved in last year’. Told them straight away I hadn’t had any accident. Looked them up online afterwards. They’d called from a landline, so I phoned back on this number 01513759357. After a bit of hassle - can’t go into too much detail as this form won’t let me type it all out - a ‘manager’ eventually took me off their call list.

Got a call from this number but no one spoke when I answered, even after I said "Hello" pretty loudly. Then the call just ended. I called back from my landline and was told it was AMS Nationwide, but they said that number wasn't for calls. Sounds like just another annoying telemarketer to me!

I received a call from this number claiming they believed I’d been involved in a car accident in the last three years. In reality, it was nearly four years ago. I tried to keep it civil and mentioned that they were about the tenth or fifteenth caller on the same matter, but before I could finish, they abruptly cut the line. The caller had a distinct Liverpool accent, full of that typical Scouse charm.

It's quite baffling why the phone companies don't take action against these nuisances.

At approximately 8 PM on the 12th of August 2015, I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number. The woman on the line had a distinct Chinese accent and seemed to know the name associated with the account. She rattled off her lines quite quickly, claiming to be representing Nationwide and probing about a supposed recent accident I might have been part of. However, as soon as I requested her to clarify her affiliation, she abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
