They said they were giving advice about final salary pensions and had looked up people from my old company. Even after I said I wasnt interested, they kept going and said they were hired by Mercer and Abbott for this stuff which sounded dodgy. If you have a final salary pension from a large international firm, I’d just block them.

I received a call from someone who was masquerading as Vodafone, attempting to sell me various services. It quickly became clear that their main aim was to pry into my bank information. Curious about the number, I looked it up and discovered it didn't belong to my nearby shop as they had insisted. Instead, it was registered at 61 Oxford St, Manchester M1 6EQ. Quite the dodgy operation, if you ask me!

Got a call saying they were from Vodafone at the Trafford Centre, but when they asked for part of my pin or a memorable word, I didn't feel right. Then they asked for my date of birth and postcode! I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info and that I wasn’t interested in carrying on with the call.
