Just got a call from this lot earlier. Over the last couple weeks, I've gotten a handful of calls from different numbers in Manchester. The bloke on the line, Asian guy calling himself 'Andy', said they were sending me a cheque for £2,500 and needed me to verify my address. I cut him off fairly quick, but annoyingly it sounded like he got my door number right, which kinda makes me think they do actually have some of my personal details. I asked him which company or deal they thought I'd been missold - like Halifax or Lloyds or something - and he had no clue. The call finished with him saying sorry loads.

Got a call on my mobile from a woman with an Indian accent. She told me I’d be getting some paperwork in the post about a refund on my credit card. I asked her for the amount and I think she mentioned something like £2,500. When I tried to get more details, all I picked up was that they’d send two forms, one to fill in and the other to keep. It all sounded a bit dodgy to me, especially since I wasn’t expecting any money. I said I needed more info and wasn’t convinced. Then she asked if I wanted to speak to someone else who might be clearer, but it turned out to be another woman with a similar accent, so I just ended the call.
