This one was quite polite actually. They asked about the heating situation in my place and mentioned some government rules that could mean cheaper heating for me, even if I rent. But then they said someone living with me has to be on benefits to qualify, and then they just said bye.

Got a call from this number, some bloke asking straight up if I use electric heating. When I told him it’s not any of his business if I use electric, gas or whatever, since I never asked for his call, he got quite rude and just hung up. You could hear a noisy office background, like a call centre. With all the different stuff folks here are saying, seems like a right load of muppets. Just can’t figure out how they're getting hold of these unlisted numbers though.

This lady used a shortened version of my first name, which is pretty rare. I acted like I couldn’t hear properly and kept saying “hello” over and over. Then I told them to stop ringing me up. I hung up, but somehow they’ve tried calling me 11 times in the last three days!

I've been getting loads of calls from various numbers, all from a firm calling themselves MFUK. They say they're linked to O2, but I rang O2 and they told me they have no ties with this company. When I challenged the caller on it, they just ended the call.

lately ive been getting calls from loads of numbers that look alike after i applied for a loan. everytime they ring, i just tell them to ring back in 5 mins so i can have a quick look at them online. theres tons of phishing scams going around right now, so if anyone else has had these calls and ended up sharing bank info, please make sure to report it to www actionfraud police.uk. they’ll take your info and let you know what to do next. cheers!

Oh, here we go again! Just another loan firm pestering me with their calls. I really wish they’d take the hint and cease trying to pester me. I have zero interest in borrowing anything from them. Cold calling like this is rather disgraceful, isn’t it?

Got a call from this number on 27/09/18, some bloke claiming to be from RD UK about an online loan I supposedly applied for. When I asked for more info, he said the right email address. Then I asked for my postcode and he gave me my actual old postcode, even though I moved 6 months ago. I’m pretty certain no one has applied for a loan using my details since I get alerts on my credit reports, but it’s worrying that these cold callers seem to have more info than just my name and number.

they've called me from more than 150 different numbers in just 3 days. whenever i tell them they've dialled the wrong number, they either get rude or try to push a loan on me like im their customer. no idea who these lot are or why they have my details. once i sort some stuff out, im definitely changing my number.
