So this woman rang me but never said who she was, just asked if she could speak to me. Weirdly, she called me by my old surname. When I told her I was busy at work, she said she'd ring back once I finished. Then she hung up so fast I didn’t even get a chance to find out what it was about! I went ahead and blocked the number.

Just like a few others here, this person already knew my name and said she was doing a Life insurance review to confirm I had the correct policy. When I asked where they found my number, she couldn’t give me an answer. I hung up on her, then called back and the line was still connected, sounding like I’d missed a call and there was a voicemail. Definitely not to be trusted.
