They called me using my husband’s surname like I changed mine, which I haven’t. Seems like they just guess the name and gender of whoever picks up. Said it was about my life insurance, but I have no idea what they’re on about since I’ve never had any.

It’s seriously stressing me out so much that I’ve nearly had panic attacks from the constant ringing just this past week. i keep getting calls from loads of different numbers, this one included. as soon as i block one, another pops up, always asking for a mr taylor ball. its been going on for like a year now, started around the time someone passed away in the family. just to be clear, i'm a woman and definitely not taylor ball. could they please stop bothering me? its really getting annoying.

some bloke called me pushing life insurance, i kept asking him to speak louder cos the line was rubbish and just to fill the silence i let him go on and on. eventually i got fed up and said no thanks and hung up. quite a patient guy to stick around that long just to keep me company. wouldn’t mind if he rings back, maybe he’s actually the cable guy in disguise!

Got a call from a supposedly Manchester number, but it was actually some call-centre based in South Africa peddling life insurance. They claimed it was market research at first. The woman on the phone even let slip that they use UK numbers on purpose to dodge the TPS and bypass cold-call restrictions. How is this even allowed to continue? Shouldn't something be done about it?
