Got a call on 24/10/20 round 3.14 in the arvo. Some foreign lady kept messing up my name, even got the spelling all wrong (no clue what script she was reading). She claimed to be ringing from a “life insurance review centre”. I humoured her for a bit. Then she passed me to a bloke with a Scouse accent who started firing questions at me, but the connection was awful so I just gave up. Watch out folks, these scammers are still around pushing their nasty schemes.

Life Insurance con! Their goal is to drain your savings and rip you off. Don’t tolerate this dodgy behaviour - just blocking won’t help as they just share your info with other crooks. It’s wiser to report it to ACTION FRAUD on 0300 123 2040 or visit their site for more info. Taking action now is the best way to give these nasty scammers a proper telling off!

They were calling about insurance and kept asking for my details. When I said I was recording the conversation, they started insulting my mum and said they were gonna come round to my place, lol. Then I said I’m a pro cage fighter and the bloke freaked out and hung up. So yep, just another dodgy insurance scam, told them to piss off.

Got a call from 0161 808 8425 at about 6.40pm on 24/08/20. The noise in the background made it sound like a dodgy call centre. The bloke had a weird voice and somehow knew my name, then spoke so quickly I didn’t even get the name of the business. When I asked what company he was with, he just cut me off. Pretty sure it’s a scam. Blocked straight away!

Got a really nasty bloke ringing up about life insurance. I said I’m not interested and asked him to take me off his list, but then he started accusing me of being rude and tried to argue with me. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a bloke named Lee, said he was from an insurance firm and somehow knew my last name. He was chatting about my "life insurance plan" and said my monthly fees were gonna go down. Someone phoned me from this number, there was about ten seconds of quiet which makes me think it's one of those automated systems ringing loads of numbers just to see who picks up. Looks like the person before me wasn’t interested so she called me next. The woman on the line spoke with a faint Afrikaans accent and was talking about insurance, but it sounded like she was trying to fish out some details rather than actually sell anything. I’ve been getting harassed by this caller who seems intent on waking me up at ungodly hours-both in the dead of night and at the crack of dawn. they were trying to get hold of my personal info and bank details. never ever give out your stuff! they asked for my full name, birth date and who supplies my utilities. i was daft and gave it all away. a few days later, those scammers rang again, acting like they were from my gas company! said they’d found me a cheaper deal. sounded legit cos they knew loads about me!! i was about to pay a bit over the phone, then i remembered the first call and said hang on! then the guy with an indian accent got proper annoyed! please watch out for this sort of thing.
