I got a call from an Asian lady with a thick accent who asked me how I was doing, then kept repeating hello over and over. There was a bunch of noise in the back, like she was pretending to be in some call centre. After a while, I just got annoyed and ended the call.

The guy sounded foreign and you could hear loads of noise in the background. Pretty sure it’s a scam, hope no one gets caught out by it. At first, all was quiet which I knew meant it was a predictive dialler, then suddenly the background noise of a busy call centre kicked in. I just ended the call straight away without saying anything.

So, there’s this Insurance Review Centre, or at least they claim to be, but it’s just a sham. They operate outta some office in Salford Quays, Manchester, but honestly I think they don’t even exist properly. Something dodgy going on there - total scam. They should be shut down right away before more people get caught up in their lies.

Somebody rang me claiming they were from an Insurance review centre and said they were connected to Legal & General, Royal London and another firm I can’t recall. They wanted to check my life insurance to ensure it meets current laws and said they might help me save money. When they asked if I had a policy, I said they should already know that if they’re really a review centre. I told them I wasn’t interested and asked them to take my number off their list - they just cut me off straight away.

i told the person on the phone, who spoke with a foreign accent, that we're on the tps list so they shouldn't be ringing us. he didn’t seem to know what that was and then started shouting aggressively. i just ended the call. there are so many of these scam callers - even if you block one, another pops up. my dad’s 93 and he gets a phone call from them almost every single day.
