Today, I received a call from this number. When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end, and they ended the call after a mere 16 seconds. I’ve refrained from returning the call, and so far, I haven't been able to track down any details about it.

I picked up the phone on the first ring when they called and claimed they were from O2. I mentioned I was rather tied up at the moment and requested that they give me a ring back later. When they did call again, it turned out they were actually contacting me regarding a job opportunity based on my CV that was supposedly floating around online. I confronted them, pointing out that they’d initially stated they were from O2. They then asked for my name to pull up my details. I replied, "No thanks, mate, I'm currently employed and quite content with my arrangement with EE." At that point, he abruptly hung up on me. 😑
